I did just take a look at their roadmap page. A lot has been added and updated it looks like. If the features their working on pan out as usable it's gonna be pretty impressive. Some really cool features are being worked on. Edit: guess I should include the link as I intended lol www.cattleandcrops.com/roadmap#rm130

The forum there has a couple of the dev guys that pop in every now and then, it sounds like everything they've been putting up and sharing is exactly what the game will be like. They are working on making all the normalties of farming inbedded in the game as an option, disease, bugs, can't plant when the ground conditions are unfavorable, animal health, community involvement, real life equipment problems and the list goes on forever. Gotta say, I might actually do a early release preorder of this game.... Maybe....

I know man I'm struggling with it too even with all my reservations. It will probably be cheaper to preorder now than buy the game on release. Not to mention play it much sooner.

That telehandler does look awesome! I have a question for you PC guys, when they talk about a high poly model, why is the poly count an issue in FS? I know TSM has mentioned he is trying to lower the poly count because its too high. Is that because if it's too high it won't work with the engine or is it maybe too much for anything beside a high spec PC? I know in the mod upload requirement for FS it can't be above a certain poly count....

I'm just gonna guess so I hope someone knows more than me. I wonder if it has to do with how much ram it takes to load the mod. Only reason I think so is I bet it determines how many slots a vehicle uses on console. That's all I got lol.

That makes sense preble818, I bet that's why the Fendt 800 series mod takes so many slots, probably a high poly count. So if they are going to use these high poly models that's probably not a good thing when it comes to getting C&C on consoles..... unless their engine is a lot more efficient than the FS engine....

I guarantee you it's more efficient. The PC specs they have listed atm are the same as FS. Thats impressive for all that's built into the game. Farm sims engine is old and they keep using it. Think about the graphics on some of the console games now with high resolution textures that run well. I hope they can get it to console eventually because all the mods that set PC apart from console for farm SIM are built into CNC.

To be honest, I have no idea what poly count is, but makes sense that it would be RAM related.
For Cattle and Crops, I don't know about you guys, but I am pretty stoked! I think I might do a pre-order of the game as well.
