So the map is up now for PC and console... who is up for a 7 day challenge. This is a forestry map with limited area for agriculture but we can try and clear some trees and put in some fields and cut a farm out of the bush. You start with limited structures: straw barn, silo, gas station, 1 sales point and the dealer and limited equipment including a Comia harvester and the very important PLOW... which you are definitely going to need to create fields... as there are NO FIELDS and NO ANIMAL areas. The idea... you get 7 IN GAME days to create your own personalized farm, including fields and the structures YOU want on your farm... and at the end of the 7 days you post pics on here to show off and brag... there are no winners... but you may get the admiration of those here on the board for creativity. I also recommend you take advantage of the forestry aspect (which has never been my favourite) to help get the funds you need to create your farm. I will download the map tonight and start to figure out what to do with it...who wants to join in ? map is here.... Smokey Mountain Logging |

I'm in. I work all weekend so may take a while for 7 in game days. No cheats. Do we play on a specific time speed? Idk if I can do 7 days real time lol.

I think I will have to opt out on this one, sorry guys but you could be waiting a long time for me to get through 7 game days. I've only played a couple hours in the last month or so. It's not that I haven't tried but I get about 10 minutes in and my head starts bobbing haha. If it was mid winter it would be no problem, my days are just too full right now. I've got some dozers for ya blademaster, I just don't know if they are console compatible hehe, trucking to Washington state could be a little pricey too lol. |

game speed is up to you preble... like I said there is no hurry....some might be done in a week...others in several. I plan on downloading tonight but its a busy long weekend here...so not sure how much time I will actually get...but I at least hope to get planning out of the way of where I want to put stuff, road access and such... and maybe get the plow in the ground

I took a drive around. It's going to be a challenge to find land suitable for fields. There is some area around the sell point But that's not adventurous enough for me. I haven't search every nook and cranny yet. Thanks for the offer canadafarm. You're right the move in charge would be expensive.

Sounds good should be fun! Logging isn't that bad when your doing it for more than just money. Agreed. I used to think removing trees was a bore but I have a good time with it now. |

LOL, yeah I've not tried logging since my little rage episode on WBH when I tried making wood chips haha. I don't know what they can do to make logging less frustrating but they need to do something IMO. Although it seems there are some that really like it but it's just not for me as it stands now....

I know I could run the equipment and do it in real life but sitting in front of a screen not being able to see everything from the seat is frustrating. All that being said, the goal is to plow this field and grow some crops. All this would not be that easy in real life either. So I'll stop my whinnying.

I made a big pile of logs and now my screen goes crazy when I get close to the pile. I'm just curious as to why you think this is happening. It's probably 50 to 70 logs. Just as a reminder I'm playing on PS4.
