Occasionally I'll post updates about my progress of my map and will take input, (not demands) of what might be neat features. I'm sure I'll have questions while doing this and will post those here also. No idea when there will be a release date due to life being busy with kids and 4H time. When I get closer then I'll start posting ETA updates.

Ok, so first update. Holy crap what a pain! Lol, really though, I've got the starting vehicles updated and placed, some will complain about my choices but they are my choices. Since this is meant for consoles and PC's I'm trying to make the vehicles not the normal starting fleet but not having them be the best of the best. I've got a field by the sheepies but it's not registering in game so I've got to figure that out. I'm going to contact Somethingonmyshoe2 and see if he can give me a little hint. Here shortly I'm going to start working on adding another field area that you have to travel through a couple canyons to get to.... I tell y'all what, I've got a whole new respect for map and vehicle modders!!!!!!!!!! I'm done for today, the gerbil that powers the wheel for my brain power had a stroke and needs a nap now lol.

I want it that it is a big open map with lots of trees and rivers. I want it to be flat with lots of hills or better yet I want it to be downhill no matter where I drive so my trucks and tractors don't bog down. I want all the starting equipment to be John Deere and auto load trailers. I don't want any hills or mountains in the background, I would sooner drive off the edge of the map or drive into an invisible wall. I want hedges and fences around every field and I want to be able to combine all the fields into one big field. I want you to make it 4x and solve the errors so that it can be on console. Better yet just PM me twice a day with pictures and updates and I will tell you what I want you to change LMFAO..... There I got that out of my system haha.....just kidding of course, looking forward to the updates mountaincowboySmartass. Now the map is a .5X size map with 75 fields smaller then the lizard pickup truck, all uphill, giant hills everywhere and the edge of the map is beautifully detailed pics of the Rockies oh and the startup fleet is a John Deere push mower and a wheel barrow.... Lol

Lol, it's going to be difficult to use the Seed Hawk on those fields...... I just hope that the wheelbarrow accepts multiple fruit types and has auto load hahaha.

Ok everyone, I would like some advice. I've been rethinking the startup fleet, the vehicles and equipment I have for startup is really nice, decent power, lots of variety. My question for you all is, and I'm going to take the average of what people like, does everyone like to start out with not very much, few choices of equipment, low power vehicles, not alot of variety? Or does everyone like to start out with more and not have to struggle so much to make headway? I know everyone plays different, I personally sell everything at first and buy vehicles and equipment that is never offered as the startup fleet and then build from there. What do you guys and ladies think? And discuss lol

mountaincowboy ... it is very very rare that I keep any of the starting fleet on any map I have played...sometimes I keep some things sometimes I sell everything and it isn't something I can explain other than I try to get the best for my money to simplify... cultivators and seeders usually go first for a dual/combo especially if it ferts as well... one pass... three functions. Tippers I always sell because I love the Broughan 18F WAY too much... best bang for the buck.. If I had my way... you would start with cash in the bank.. and a pickup.. (which I would also sell) lol

I am the same, usually the starting equipment, or most of it is gone pretty quickly, some people like to grind with 3m equipment but i don't, it really depends on the map and what I plan on getting into first. You will never be able to satisfy everyone with your picks for equipment but I think you should just stick with what you feel reflects your style and the style of the map. Shoe2 seems to have a thing for CaseIH, and that's fine, so if you like NH or Fendt or whatever, use what you like and it will give players a sense of who you are. Or if you want to start with cash and a pickup that's fine too, with all the equipment we have in this game there is really no right or wrong answer. Even of you only want to give me a wheelbarrow that only accepts slurry thats ok too..... I'm just glad I don't have the Oleo Sc-8.... that would make for one stinky start to the map lol.

canadafarms is right... and I didn't mention it...field sizes and shapes and the map itself has a lot to do with what the final equipement I select will be... Lossberg and Drumard for me was 3.0m equipment and the Sampo harvester because they were easy to get around the maps... if I can grass and bale I like a reverse drive tractor.. many things to consider...

Yeah I agree with starting with just a pickup (the old 70s or 80s one of course) and money in the bank, then you would have to go work for the farmers around you to get money to be able to start your own farm. I would love a bit of challenge at the beginning.
