Sorry miura74, I wasn't trying to make anyone jealous..... really it's all in perspective, big yard big mower haha. Believe me there are days I envy the people in town with a small plot and a push mower......a big yard is a ton of work and consumes most of my free time in the summer.

I was joking. Actually, we have quite a large garden, should really get a bigger mower. Still its good exercise, lol.

Oh I know you were joking but after reading my post again it may have seemed a bit.....braggy (I know that's not a real word lol). When I was a kid and we first moved to the farm we didn't have a riding mower because the family sold the one that was there in the estate sale after my grandfather passed (long story) so every Saturday I cut the whole yard with a push mower.....and that was before the ones that go on their own.....it literally took the whole day, so yeah I was in good shape lol. After doing that for a couple years my other grandfather took pity on me and went to an auction and bought me a riding mower.....it wasn't anything special but I loved that mower, it was the best gift ever lol!!!

At my local farm shop I stumped upon one of them "one their own" push mowers. I couldn't believe that they made one! I think the word is called self-propelled, if I am not mistaken, not sure. My family still owns a 4.5hp Briggs push mower from the late 90's. We don't use it a whole lot anymore.

OK.... SO....last post here by anyone....August 27th....WTF... where has everyone gone ? Yes I realize it has been summer for most of us...and the wee'uns are just back to school and Winter is Coming... so probably it will pick up here. I am back playing after a long break playing 7 days to Die. I have done a clean start on MVR... using only small to medium equipment...the fabulous new Fendt Favorit mod and the BSM MF harvester.. its a challenge to be sure. I am also doing silage..my least favourite activity at the BGA and will get into sheep when i have some coin saved up. Anxiously awaiting both The West Coast...but moreso... BSM's The Valley The Old Farm.

I thought that too... must admit have been checking in to read.. but hadn't posted.
Not enough free time for me. Had to build a shed recently, now done. Visit family, summer holiday.. and NMS is taking up my time..
Seems, as you get older, you have less time. Or much more to do. Or you sleep too much.
Need a nap.. lol... back in a few....

Yeah just been busy with school, getting my truck converted, etc. I should be back on more now. Haven't been on GIANTS for a long time, just stopped in there today, nothing much there to be in "awe" about, lol. That Farming Memes thread is probably the best thread there. Pretty funny stuff.

Totally understandable JohnDeere318, this is your senior year and not to sound too much like an old fart but enjoy every minute of it, it will be over much too fast!

I'm still alive and kicking. Check in here every other day or so to see if anyone has posted. This is the first forum I have ever actually posted on to the extent that I have. Do forums have an ebb and flow to them? I mean is it normal for a forum to get as quiet as this one has?

Happy to hear you are doing well blademaster. Are ya still playing FS? As far as the forums go I don't have much more experience with them than you do. This is only one of the three forums that I have ever been a member on. All three are FS related and I only joined after FS 17 was released. Giants forum will always have some daily traffic, being that it is the official support forum for the game and they have 94,000 members. We are pretty small and at this point, one year into the game, I'm thinking a lot of people are either not playing FS as much, if at all, or already have figured out most things so not much to talk about. Also summer can be busy for people, I know the last 3 months have been really busy for me haha. I bet in the last three months I played 15-20 hours maybe.

Yep still playing everyday. Past month or two WBH exclusively. I've been running it real time at 3 hours behind my time so when I get home from work I still have daylight on the farm to work. I keep my cow herd to 250 and sell the pigs when they get around 450 and keep them at 300. Have 257 sheep and just let them multiply. Just yesterday started WDWD with a little extra money from equipment and livestock I sold on WBH. I really was looking forward to The Pacific Coast map but it doesn't look like we will get that anytime soon on console. I was following the thread on Giants forum pretty close when it was in testing. Now that BB is taking care of his dad it will probably be awhile. Best wishes to BB and his family. Now I'm waiting for The Valley The Old Farm. I did get a little bored with the game last week and looked into other games like Dirt4 and Hellblade Senua but two days later went back to farming. There is a lot a person can do on WBH to change it up. Such as, multiple crops on one field and following land contours on that field. What it comes down to is FS is my hobby. I've had many different hobbies this just happens to be the one I've enjoyed for the past year and don't see me moving on to anything else in the foreseeable future. Wow, that was long winded. Must have missed posting I guess. So what map are you playing and what map are you looking forward to. I'll open those questions to anyone who reads this. Maybe we can jumpstart this forum.
