Ok, so where to start, to answer your question blademaster I'm still plugging away on MVR, really enjoying the big farming and having a proper place to use the Seed Hawk. Been mainly focused on grain farming but also have almost 500 sheep and then I am also making some bales and selling them, utilizing the grass fields that are already there. I have the 3 smallest fields and am currently saving up to buy the next one, which is field 2, the second biggest one. As far as my next map I'm not really sure, still haven't DL WDWD yet but will do the next time I get home and have proper Internet. The BSM map or the West coast by BB will be right up there too. It's so hard now with all the maps available, I guess in my years before mods and we only had 2 or 3 maps to choose from over a 2 yr period I got used to putting a lot of time into a map. When I see people say they only spend 25 hrs on a map I wonder what really gets done because for me at 25 hrs I am just getting started.....oh well, to each their own. Ok so Real Farm, I haven't really seen much on this yet. There was a pre release video by Daggerwin that popped up the other day when I was watching a farming video on YT but I only watched maybe a minute of it because that knuckle head drives me crazy. How he has 300,000 subs is beyond me. I did see the guys over at PC-SG were talking about it and none of them seemed too impressed. Supposedly it will not have mod support or multiplayer but from the little bit I watched of the Daggerwin vid it seemed to be a very limited early release version so I don't think it should be judged to harshly just yet. It's very early days still and at least they are getting a product out there which is more than can be said for CnC. From what I hear the progress on CnC has been terribly slow. Anyways if you get Real Farm cr41g you will have to let us know how it is. I can't see myself having much time for a bit yet to bother going to get it right away. Same goes for Spintires, if you get it let us know what you think but a lot of people seem pretty excited for it. Yes you got me cr41g, I went against what I said and made some posts over at Giants forum but you are right, there are a few over there that just seem to want to disagree and start something even if it is a common sense, factual post and that's why I stopped posting there in the first place. If I do continue to post over there it is going to be very limited and I really don't want to get into flame wars anymore, I am totally over that nonsense. Ok so now who's long winded blademaster lol

We finished up two weeks ago but we don't do corn and beans. My friend that I was helping today has one field of flax left and it was seeded pretty late, otherwise he has been done everything else for a while already. Out here there isn't much crops left to do, you see the odd farmer still doing beans or flax, not much corn in these parts, the odd field but there is more of it if you go just a little further south....oh yeah and I seen a couple fields of sunflowers today, which is really rare over here and they are always very late from what I can tell.

Life! There's life on the forum! lol Now how did Real Farm sneak up on me? And more to the point: there's a Professional Farmer : American dreams edition?!? BTW Professional Farmer has always looked awful to me. But I must get back into my farming... but GT Sport is too tempting, except when the servers crash. So, I fired up my PS4 Farming Simulator to see how many mods there were since, well a long time ago. Quite a few, but seriously, the preview pictures are missing on almost everything. How did it get that bad? I can't order with pictures! lol Talking of Spintires, I got that on the PC. Not bad really, and it is fun to a point, but it is the same concept over and over. I see they re-launched it with just a little bit extra added. Nothing much really, if you already have the original. Dynamic terrain is fun, but after a while you'll hate it, lol. Oh, and the crane arm is worse than FS. Ugh. Didn't try the multiplayer, that might be funny. I believe Spintires was a crowd funded game, like CnC. Reading their forum, they originally planned more content, then appear to have dropped the game of differences of opinions. Then suddenly now they re-launch it? I'd need to see more of what they added in this new version, otherwise I smell a quick money maker.

Thats an interesting observation about the new Spintires miura74, is it going to stick around for the long haul or is this just a quick cash grab? Some people are saying that's why all these devs are trying to put out farming games, even if they aren't very good it's just a quick cash grab for them. What are your thoughts on that theory?

Probably a moneymaker exercise, new Spintires really does not appear to have a lot more than the original. So, why not make a new DLC/Update for the original at a lower price, rather than a full new game at full price with most of the same content. ? Bet it is mostly the same game code anyway. I quite like Spintires, don't get me wrong, and I totally failed in my mini-series on YT, lol. Curse you mud!!
You are right, there does seem to be a lot of farming games out there now, perhaps it is an area people want to cash in on. IDK. FS from GIANTS is still the best to me. CnC is very promising but clearly falling behind in the delivery. The others seem to have "interesting" aspects but will likely fall short of FS17 in both amount of content and overall quality.
I guess the real test is whether the farming game noobies last to a second version. If they develop their product or just drop it for a new project.

Downloading Real Farm as I post this. We will see. Tried Professional Farmer, just not the same feel and reality as FS17 is for me. If Real Farm is any good at all I'm going to try and play it for a few hours today. We shall see. I hope it's good.

OK, I don't much care for Real Farm. not very realistic looking. Better than Professional Farmer but still not as good as FS17, IMO.

If it matters, I've been mostly playing World Of Tanks Blitz recently. I used to play on my IPad, but now I play on my laptop with the same savegame because my IPad ran out of room. You guys should try play it. If you want to look at a Youtuber who plays it, I suggest the Birdmaster. If you guys do get it, please add me on friends. I'm CrazyTrain_19.

Thanks for letting us know blademaster. I guess they had to start somewhere, Giants has a ten year head start on all these other games so I think it is going to be very hard for a dev to release a game that is as good right out of the gate. It is too bad because it will probably get bad reviews which could detour the dev from trying to make another even better version, thus not giving Giants the competition they need to step up their game.

I always thought world of tanks looked like a really cool game CrazyTrain. I have never been into FPS games but this is more up my alley. I used to be really into a game called Ace Combat, haven't played it for a long time now, don't even know if it's available on ps4 but it would be very similar to WOT only with planes instead of tanks.

That makes sense canadafarms. I've only been playing FS for a year now and didn't go through the early dev years. If any of you guys decide to give it a try I'd like to hear your opinion. Especially how it compares to the early years of FS. It's really not that bad it's just, at this point, I'm spoiled with where FS is today.
