Just thought I’d check to see if anyone was still posting here. I’m still playing FS17 pretty much everyday. I’m on the Giants forum often but never post. I’ve always felt more comfortable posting here. Most if not all of you guys have probably moved on to bigger and better things. Well I would hate to see this forum die. It is the first one I ever fully participated in. Hope you guys are well.

Yep, I'm here, but this is the first time I've checked here in a while. I occasionally play FS. but I'm mostly into Fortnite at the moment. I'll definitely play a lot of FS19 with the John Deere though.

I’m still here, haven’t been playing much FS or anything lately but I still check in to see if anyone is still around. It’s good to know other people are still here and alive and well. Are you guys having a good summer?

I'm alive! lol Actually been playing FS on Oakfield farm and just started looking at Old Slovenian farm. I'm really not so excited by FS19, unless they've done some major code refactoring, it may just be more lipstick on the pig, so to speak. Been busy with Fallout (people seem to like my builds), some GT Sport, a little NMS (don't like the update really they zapped everything just for the sake of it). It has been rather quiet here, so nice to see some are still about.

Alive as well, lol. Glad to see the rest of you are! Haven't played much FS in 6 months. Mostly been a Chevy truck forum lately now. When Fall arrives, I might be on more when FS19 comes out.
Oh, and my new username is now JohnDeere322, just got a 322 a couple weekends ago with a 18hp 3-cylinder Yanmar gas. Puts my 318 to shame! Sounds just like it's diesel brethren, I hope to be restoring it spring of 2019 and putting a stack on it as well.

Giving this thread a bump. Anyone still out there? Been at least a year since I've been on here, didn't really play the game for a while, but I am back to playing it again. Didn't realize what I was missing, lol.
So how have you guys been lately? Glad harvest season's been over, took longer than I thought lol.

Haha, I'm still here, even though its been a week since you asked. Harvest was tough. We still have 280 acres of canola out. All the peas and wheat yielded good. Oats are making money and corn wasn't that bad. Beans were okay.

Hey guys, good to hear from you, it’s been a while! I am still playing FS when I can but it’s been a crazy year, both good and bad but I am still alive and kicking!
Harvest was tough for us as well, the weather was brutal and then on top of that my dad’s cancer got the better of him in September after a five year battle...so yeah, it was rough. We are very fortunate to have some good neighbors though. The day dad passed if the conditions would have been dry enough we probably would have had 50 combines out there getting the crop in. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for anyone and the harvest got late for everyone. A couple of neighbors did finish before us and moved in to help so we did get it all In the bin, if they hadn’t I don’t think we would have beat the snow. The yields were average to very good, unfortunately most of it had to be dried which is pretty unusual for our area and the types of crops we grow but these last two harvests have been very wet and cold. That said, surprisingly the grades were quite good so at least there is that. Lots of people in our area weren’t as fortunate, there was a lot of crops that were downgraded to feed and I know of a few that still have ALOT out yet...like thousands of acres...I can’t even imagine. I would be in the padded room right now if that was me😳.
Anyways again, it’s nice to hear from all of you👍🏻

So sorry that your dad passed away, I hope you're still doing fine. Sounds like you guys had it way worse than us.
So glad to see a couple of you are still around, lol. I have been checking up on the Giants forum lately and noticed a lot of people from our time on that forum have pretty much left, or don't comment anymore. Kinda sad to see, but everybody moves on.

Thanks JohnDeere318. I’m doing ok, the hardest part is seeing my mom without my dad. They did everything together so that is rough. Christmas was a little sad this year that’s for sure. Anyways enough of the pity party ha! From what I’ve seen you guys had it pretty bad in some places in the states too. Seems farming was tough for a lot of people in North America this year. Hope 2020 is better because 2019 was a year for the bad book. Yeah I’ve noticed that on Giants forum. I can’t even remember the last time I posted there, it’s been at least a year. Sometimes shortly after 19 was released I think. Anyways how have you been? What are you keeping busy at now that you are done with high school?

I've been good, just can't wait until winter is over lol. Getting tired of polishing my stainless rocker panels on my other truck every few weeks because of the salt. Also want to start mowing again.
I've been going to college now, majoring in auto tech, just started this fall. It's a two year program, glad it isn't any longer than that lol. Been learning a lot just in the few months I've been there. I like it much better than high school, mainly because it was a different atmosphere and was a good fresh start for myself. It does get a little stressful at times, but for the most part, it isn't too hard. Have made quite a bit of friends in my class, which makes the day go better.
Other than that, not much else I can think of that has been going on.

Good for you JohnDeere318! There will always be things that need to be fixed that’s for sure. Sorry this reply took so long, cows are dropping calves like crazy here. Can’t believe a month has passed, I could swear it’s only been a couple days lol.

Just checkin' in...
So sorry to hear of your loss canadafarms.
But good to actually hear from a lot of people here.
I'm still playing FS19 on and off. Picked it up again on console, as that no man's land map landed. Only 102 slots at the start, so a great map for console players. Posted some pix over on the giants board.
