Sorry all, I can’t believe it’s been over a month since my last post. I’ve been busy but as always I scan the internet for news on FS to bring to our community of virtual farmers.Today the new, or shall I say the complete version of the reveal trailer was posted on Giants forum from the E3 gaming convention, which unveiled the new headline equipment manufacturer, John Deere, as well as two new crops, cotton and oats. If you haven’t seen it yet I have posted it in the FS 19 videos section.
Today is the first day of E3, so it is possible that more info for FS 19 is still to come in the next few days. I will post anything I find if and when new announcements are made. If you find info that isn’t posted please feel free to share it with us.

Hey I know this post is almost a month old but I'm back into fs17 and excited for 19. I'm especially excited about the oats cause it means horses and I grew up riding horses. I've been wanting them in the game. Of course I'm pumped for JD. Any speculation on what sort of an equipment line will be ingame? I'm hoping they went all out and we will see at least several tractors a combine and sprayer. Edit: The other day browsing for news I found this guy. He looks like a good source of updated info. www.scholarlygamers.com/author/reubenjoosse/

Good to hear from you again preble818! I am starting to get cautiously optimistic about FS 19, looks like some good changes coming for this version. I am liking the new mission system......and JD, even though I am not a fan I am happy for those who are. I still haven’t heard if they addressed the one dump economy and I’ve read that the AI isn’t any better..... these were my two biggest pet peeves with 17 but there definitely looks like some good improvement in other areas. Really hoping the above issues are addressed though because I burnt out on 17 really quick because of this. Oh well, trying not to be too pessimistic until I see the finished product.

Good to hear from you too Canadafarms. I see a lot that I like and though I'm definitely a JD fan those things you mentioned are much more important to me as well. One thing I'm also anxious to find out is if there us any improvement in bale performance. I'm going to be playing back on the ps4 again because my pc greatly missed the mark for processor requirements. Doing animals are must for me and its not feasible to have any large amount of animals and use bales for everything on console. I've failed at using seasons for that reason though I've tried it many times. I'd love to see them use a type of bale storage system that allows for a large amount of bales in storage that dont use system resources so hard but I'm not hopeful. With the expanded placeable system and the fact that the placeable count is limited on console added with the increase in processing requirements for fs19, um skeptical its gonna run well. Hoping for a pleasant surprise because a new pc isnt in the budget right now.

Ah yes the lag caused by too many bales and the physics of handling bales are things that I hope are improved. A bale storage like you mentioned would be a welcomed addition. I would also like to see something similar for machinery that isn’t being used. A shed where you could park equipment that would take it out of the tab rotation and not have to render said equipment, thus helping with lag as well. Mods like this do exist for both bales and equipment, but they are scripted so...well you know how that goes for us console players lol. Thinking about going PC for this edition, we will see maybe when things slow down this winter I will consider it, just not sure I want to make that kind of commitment for one game but if it becomes unplayable due to, for example, low slot count, I may bite the bullet, although I really don’t want to haha.

I was thinking PC too but went ahead and pre ordered for console. Wasn't having any luck convincing the wife that it was good idea to drop 800 bucks on a new pc and mine isnt worth upgrading anymore. Maybe well get lucky and they will add some of the more popular scripts into this version of the game. One can dream.
