Checking the Giants Forum this morning and they have announced the official expansion for FS 17 coming nov 14. The new map will be South American and there is a new crop...... sugar cane, along with the required equipment! South America should be great fun....I love that they are being more worldly... these people that just want American everything annoy me to no end. I can't wait to watch them all start pissing and moaning....
That Season Pass is really starting to pay off !!!

I am looking forward to sugar cane.... we went to Cuba years ago and did a sugar cane field / factory tour... and got we there by...are you ready....steam locomotive.... one of my BEST days ever.... didn't even mind that everyone got covdered in soot...lmao... as all the cars were open top.

Wow I'm impressed! Glad to finally see something other that USA and Europe as well! And a new crop that actually requires equipment not already in game. Makes me think someone over at giants is listening to it's customers!

This is just an awesome pack and can't wait until November 14. Glad they are going more worldly, instead of just plain ol' America and Europe.

I'm on PC now so glad I didn't get the season pass for ps4 but I'll be buying this for sure. Giants is impressing me with this version of FS. I had over 700 hours in fs13 and only 250 in 15. I'm over 250 just in the PC version of 17 and had it preordered for console and played that for quite awhile before switching back. I guess I have a problem but I'm ok with it lol.

Yes I am tired of the same old maps and of course the one's who play on console have to try and get some modders to try and get different combines and new truck's and realalistic farming equipment we really need a newhollan smart traz and a new grain trailers like the Wilson and stuff like that and yes I do live on a farm I have 2 hog barns and I wish we could have ones that we could place

Just downloaded it. My first thought. How many people will see the hanger and the first thing they do in game is go over and see if they can fly the plane. I did.

Haven't tried it yet, DL last night and hoping to give it a go tonight. That is a bit of a tease isn't it blademaster lol. Been trying to read a bit over in Giants forum today....pretty hard to say if it's good or not, seems some really don't like it ......uh hmm cr41g, some don't understand it and some like it but for a new platinum expansion being released the forums have been pretty quiet all in all |

I got aboard the train and took a spin. I like that the train needs a paint job. The cars stop for the train, good. I like the maps brighter colors. But in the end it really is just another map with not much difference except for a couple different crops and a couple different pieces of equipment. If an independent modder who has a day job and a family did the map I would say brilliant. but, it came from the people who started FS to begin with. It could be and should be much more than it is because it's Giants putting it out. If you compare BulletBills The West Coast to this map.... well wait you can't compare them because, IMO, The West Coast is far and away a better map and BulletBill didn't ask for $ for us to download it. If the Giants crew is celebrating this map and all that goes with it their standards for keeping Farming Simulator fresh and innovative have declined.
